TEST: EMMA4EU Launches Advanced Training Course in Deforestation-Free Supply Chain Management

February, 2025 – The EMMA4EU project team is proud to announce the launch of an Advanced Training Course in Deforestation-Free Supply Chain Management: an innovative educational programme designed to equip professionals and master’s degree students with the knowledge and skills needed to manage supply chains in compliance with the European Union’s Deforestation-Free Products Regulation (EUDR). Developed by the University of Padua, one of Europe’s oldest universities, in collaboration with academic and non-academic partners, this course responds to the growing demand for experts in sustainable supply chain management.
Designed for maximum flexibility, the course is entirely online with asynchronous video lectures, allowing participants to learn at their own pace. This training programme, part of the EMMA4EU project, offers an exceptional opportunity to develop expertise in EUDR compliance, enabling participants to become key reference points in deforestation-free supply chain management. The course connects students to a highly international network, bringing together five universities and five specialised private organisations, ensuring a cutting-edge learning experience led by top professors and industry experts. Through this initiative, Deforestation-Free Supply Chain Managers will emerge as a new professional figure, equipped with transversal and digital skills to drive the transition towards sustainable supply chains and ensure compliance with the EU Deforestation-Free Products Regulation.
