Across the world, landscapes are changing due to human activities, climate change and natural processes. In smallholder agricultural landscapes, a common challenge is that short-term crops and traditional farming practices are often at odds with the environment, resulting in increased erosion, reduced soil health and forest cover, and declining yields. AidEnvironment enables stakeholders in a landscape to sustainably manage their natural resources. Our aim is to improve the quality of landscapes and create a productive and healthy environment for all who rely on it.
We advise governments, non-profits and companies on efficient, effective and sustainable management of land and water resources. To ensure that solutions are apt to local needs and natural resources, our programs always actively involve all stakeholders where we collaborate in designing solutions to local challenges. Our desired result is increased resilience of communities and ecosystems and lasting improvement in the quality of the entire landscape.
